In my wanderings across the great and vast world we call the internet, I recently stumbled upon a very well done and fascinating website. See, my son loves Star Wars. The Darth Maul Estrogen Brigade 2 at http://www.dmeb2.org/main/index.html. What is the DMEB2? It's an all female fan club especially devoted to Darth Maul. Seriously. This blog has existed for ten years - since 2001! It seems to have fallen off somewhere around 2009 but that's a very impressive track record! KGS could only hope to reach such a benchmark (my money says that we implode sometime around July of this year)!
This is what makes the Star Wars fanbase so great. Take a mediocre villain in a mediocre film and it inspires a decade of rabid fans obsessively detailing every aspect of the character and actor. And, hey, what a great name. You won't soon forget The Darth Maul Estrogen Brigade 2! Heh. Funny.
