About the Author

I am in my mid-thirties and I'm a huge fan of comics, movies, games, and books. I have been gaming since I was in the 6th grade.
As far as games go, I like board games and role playing games. RPGs I've played include every edition of DnD, Rolemaster, Warhammer Fantasy, Traveler, Aces and Eights, Classic Marvel Super Heroes D100, Lone Wolf D20, Lone Wolf Multiplayer, Marvel Universe Roleplaying Game, Seven Seas, Sengoku, Macho Women with Guns, Battletech, Gurps, Eclipse Phase, Oz: Dark and Terrible, TMNT, Star Wars (various versions), Colonial Gothic, All Flesh Must Be Eaten, Deathwatch, Atomic Highway, Shadowrun, Mutants and Masterminds, Land of Og, Savage Worlds, Necessary Evil, various World of Darkness games, and Gamma World just to name the ones I can think of right now.
Board and card games I've played include Magic: The Gathering, GI Joe CCG, Settlers of Catan (and expansions), all Ticket to Ride editions, Carcassone (and various expansions), Medici, Risk (various editions), Master Labyrinth, Colosseum, Ablaze, Hey! That's My Fish!, Puerto Rico, San Juan, The Great Space Race, Orcs at the Gates, Wings of War, Rocketville, Smallworld, Cosmic Encounter, Dust Tactics, Guillotine, Defenders of the Realm, Zombie Dice, Pass the Pigs, Castle Ravenloft, and Bermuda Triangle just to name a few.
I have worked in two comic books stores (Wolfhead Comics in Mechanicsburg, PA and Comix Connection in Camp Hill, PA). I primarily read Marvel (Spidey, Hulk, FF, Avengers, etc.) but I also enjoyed many indie comics such as Scud the Disposable Assassin.
As far as books go I'm a rabid Stephen King fan (even reading all of the comic versions of his novels), I love the Lone Wolf solo adventure books, and it is my goal to read every Newbery Medal winning novel ever.
In movies, my interests range from Dead Poets Society to Time Traveler's Wife to Fandango. I love sci-fi fantasy movies including comic book movies, Lord of the Rings and the Star Wars films (of course!).
I blog to share my opinions (which I often find to be... unique) and to share my experiences as a geek.
