I spotted two errors in the printing for the Marvel Super Hero Squad Trading Card Game. Fans and players of the series should be aware of two printing errors I found.
The first error is on the Wasp card, Little Surprise. It reads 2--> KEEPER. It should not. There is no reason for this card to be a keeper - it's effect is a one time deal and does not persist.
The second error is on the Hulkbuster Iron Man card, Hulkbusted! The card shows +7 POWER LEVEL and 7 POWER LEVEL when it should in fact show +7 DAMAGE TO THE ATTACK and 7 ATTACK VALUE. This makes a huge difference. The first error on the card, +7 power level is easy to spot because it doesn't even make sense. What would raising the power level of the card by 7 do when you attack? Nothing. The really tricky error on this card is the second error - "...if the top of your opponent's discard pile is attack 7 or more...." It's reasonable to think that you would look at the power level of your opponent's card. But a careful reader would catch the word "attack." So, in actuality you're looking to see if the ATTACK value of the card on top of your opponent's discard pile is 7 or more.

The online cards (without errors)
How does this happen? Clearly the cards were already designed online. So somebody had to actually make changes to the digital cards to make the print cards incorrect.
Anyone else find any errors? Let me know so we can spread the world!

ReplyDeleteBlade's Drain Life is also error, it has twin factor instead of one regular factor.
DeleteGreat! Thanks for the info! It's strange how they made these errors when the digital cards were already done...
DeleteCrowd Surfer has another error, it isn't supposed to have damage 2 on its keeper effects.
ReplyDeleteGreat catch. Thank doesn't even make any sense the way they have it!
